Synopsis

Book One - The Perennial Child

"The Corgi Car"

The presence of the Steward is first alluded to by Atticus, explaining that a monster has been terrorizing their nation for a week. On their quest to find it, they discover a spider making shadows that resemble the Steward and mistake the insect for the monstrous robot. Soon, however, the real Steward is discovered, managing the cores that determine the objects present in the car. One-One accidentally makes their presence known, causing it to open fire on the trio. Although it initially appears as if it has claimed Tulip, One-One falls out of her backpack, causing the Steward to end its attack and leave the car, likely reporting One-One to the Conductor.

"The Cat's Car"

The Steward appears only after Tulip and company have left the car that the Cat resides in. It grabs the Cat and questions where Tulip is, and is disappointed when the Cat explains that she had escaped the tape of memories and left. After warning The Cat not to not slip up again, it leaves while destroying her belongings.

"The Ball Pit Car"

The Steward, with the Cat's help, tracks down the gang to the Ball Pit Car. Initially hiding in the shadows, it soon launches its attack after Tulip clears Khaki Bottoms' trial. Although the gang tries to hide from it, it is alarmed to the presence of Tulip by the jelly toy she dropped. Destroying the slides and tunnels, it is briefly distracted by Atticus's efforts but eventually captures Tulip, and the Cat and Conductor soon follow behind it. The Conductor then orders the Steward to shoot at one of the tunnels that One-One went down, nearly killing the Cat in the process. Atticus attacks the Steward, though he is quickly shot and mutated by the Conductor into a Gohm, with the Steward leaving soon after.

"The Engine"

The Steward is seen deactivated in the episode, though the Conductor reactivates it to attack Tulip and stop One-One from making it to the head of the train. Atticus' Gohm form is released from the pipe it was trapped in, attacking the robotic order-keeping android. After Atticus is freed, he destroys the mask of the Steward which seemingly kills the android.

Book Two - Cracked Reflection

"The Tape Car"

When M.T. starts destroying the Porters out of frustration due to not getting a number, the repaired Steward arrives and disarms her before towering over the terrified denizen. Its mask then lifts up to reveal One-One, who asks her to stop unless she wants him to start writing her obituary.

"The Number Car"

TBA

Book Three - Cult of the Conductor

"The Origami Car"

The Steward appears in Grace's tape romanticized as able to fly, engulfed in neon blue flames, and it's arms close together. Young Grace likely interpreted that the Steward was going to attack her when it approached in her direction too fast. The Steward stops when it's former master, Amelia uses the tone meant to control it.

Book Four - Duet

Note: The Steward in this season is not the same one that appears in the previous seasons.

"The Twin Tapes"

A steward was first seen holding One-One, known as One at the time, showing Amelia the Passenger Preparation Car.

"The Party Car"

A Steward arrives at the Astro Queue Car and issues an announcement from One under the instruction of Amelia. The Steward returns Ryan and Min-Gi's clothing and personal items, which are kept in a storage container, and leaves the car. Presumably, other stewards did the same to the other passengers.

"The Castle Car"

Under Amelia's influence, the Steward enters the Castle Car and declares all passengers are "On their own now." before taking Ryan and Min-Gi's magnet shoes. The Steward moves erratically before activating a self-detonation system before leaping out of a nearby window a explodes destroying a portion of the castle in the process. Presumably, this happened all the other stewards except one.
